Attendance and absences
Students must attend school regularly so they can achieve their educational best and increase their career and life options.
In NSW, all children from the age of 6 are legally required to attend school or be registered for home schooling through the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA). All students must complete Year 10, or its equivalent.

School frameworks (school policies)
The following frameworks apply to students at our school.
- St Ives Park Primary School Homework.
St Ives Park Primary School values its rules and expectations of students, often referred to as a school's code of conduct. Known to teachers, students and staff at St Ives Park as the 'Fair Discipline Code', the code outlines the expectations and management of behaviour, which effectively promotes a happy, safe and stimulating learning environment. All students are explicitly taught, discuss and consistently revise the reasons behind the code each year. Please take the time to talk to your child regarding the code and what it means to them.
The St Ives Park school community values a safe and harmonious school environment for our students. It is important therefore for all community members including staff, parents and visitors model behaviour that is consistent with our school expectations of Respect, Responsibility and Personal Best.
