December PBL Focus
Thank you to all those students doing their personal best to wear full school uniform including school hats. Please remember that it is even more important to wear a hat during this hot and sunny weather. School hats are part of our school uniform and therefore must be worn every day.

New SIPPS Playground
Over the last fortnight, we have seen the remarkable transformation of our playground. Students and staff have watched excitedly as the new grass carpet and fixed-play equipment has been installed. We are on track to have this completed just in time for Christmas!

Kindergarten 2019
Our recent Taste of Kindy program was a great success. Our 2019 Kindergarten students enjoyed participating in dancing games, colouring in, completing some literacy and maths activities and most importantly of all, meeting some brand new friends. Their parents saw a fantastic fashion parade, learned all about our wonderful school and had a tour led by our 2018 school leaders. We can’t wait to see you all again at the beginning of next year when you become SIPPS students for real!
BYODD Parent Information Evening
All parents and especially those who have students in Year 4 and 5 are invited to attend a special parent information evening this Thursday 6th December at 6pm in our STEAM Learning Studio.
At this forum we would like parents to be part of our BYODD annual review and share ideas about new devices and practices that can support successful integration of digital technology into learning programs for our Stage 3 students. Mrs Hayllar and I look forward to seeing you there next Thursday evening.
SIPPS Performers
Thank you SIPPS band and Kate for the demonstration morning where they showed SIPPS students all the instruments that they could play if they join the band next year. We are all looking forward to their performances at our upcoming Presentation Evening.

Well done to our Kindergarten students for their fantastic performance at the recent K-6 assembly. I’m sure many of the audience members were singing the song in their head for days!
